Enigma Group 2005 Case Studies

Once again a plethora of interesting projects have come our way in 2005. Some of the assignments that were a little different include:
VicRoads - serious about team development
The Enigma Group's influence has spread like wildfire through numerous areas from within the organisation. Working with both functional and cross functional teams from numerous different project offices we have helped many individuals reflect upon their assumptions and preferences in relation to work and supported them to implement strategies to manage diversity and create more collaborative results.

A particularly interesting assignment involved the facilitation of a workshop focussing on forging a stronger relationship between VicRoads as a contract administrator and one of their major contractors. Key outcomes included a less adversarial approach to conflict resolution and the implementation of an ongoing "Health Check" process to measure the current state of the relationship.
Australia Post - M.C. who????
Vince has worked with the senior management team in the retail stream of the organisation for some time. In March a workshop for all 250 retail managers from across the State was scheduled. With a busy schedule, a tight time line, controversial content and a need to maintain motivation and interest there was a potent mix for a disaster.

Working as the 'Master of Ceremonies', Vince was able to keep the show on track and on time, with a few laughs thrown in for good measure.
National Australia Bank - Key Talent Retreat 2 - a winter odyssey.
After the resounding success of the first KTR program in 2004, it was only a matter of time until another program came along. This time the brief was to create the same outcomes but now in mid winter instead of mid summer.

The BBQ in the bush became an Indian Banquet, the outdoor cinema moved to a fully themed marque in the wilderness, Tai Chi at dawn on the hill moved indoors and the challenges continued to come come thick and fast.
The Outdoor Education Group - Safety, Safety, Safety…..
The ongoing relationship between Enigma and OEG has seen further safety audits and inspections. The climbing equipment audits now include all gear used in Victoria and NSW, in addition to performing some site inspections. OEG's Risk Management Department asked Vince to inspect bolt anchors at an Abseiling Site in NSW. The inspection resulted in a number of operational recommendations and a complete set of new anchors installed at the sites. These alterations will significantly increase safety in these areas and reduce the impact on the environment caused by high volume, concentrated usage.
